Financial crisis, rising competition and the demand of wise use of financial resources points out the importance of effective and efficient ethical management.The purpose of this article is to present the role of the responsible leaders in public organizations and the complexity of decisions of responsible leaders in managing a public organization. The lack of the knowledge or ethics may lead the organization to decline so this contribution should help to prevent such a crisis situation of a public organization. All through the contribution we present some advices for managers of public organization and at the end of the contribution we define several treats of responsible leaders.
