The conceptual purpose of the conference was to link the thematic understanding of environmental issues, as shown in Indian philosophy and literature, with the sphere of life practice - ie its practical implications for social reality and the critical reflection of these impacts. Individual papers offered perspectives of political, social and cultural contexts. Particular attention was paid to the power aspects that affect both political-ecological debates and cultural-analytical debates, taking into account the natural symbolism and its interpretations in thought and art. In addition to visiting foreign colleagues from India and Poland, the conference actively participated in the research staff of Czech expert institutions such as MUP, the Oriental Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic
