The Department of International Relations and European Studies (IRES) organized a round table entitled Economic Dimension of Integration. The round table was moderated by the teacher of the IRES department Dr. Vít Beneš and the main guests were leading Czech economic experts - Dr. Tomáš Sedláček, who currently also teaches at the Department of International Trade at the Municipal University of Prague, and economist and Member of the European Parliament Luděk Niedermayer. The event was intended primarily for students of the IRES department, but students of the Erasmus program also showed interest in the issue. Both guests first presented their views on European integration from an economic point of view, then the audience got involved with their questions and a very interesting discussion developed.
