This work is focussed on power (fission rate) distribution investigation in periphery part of a WWER-440 type core with dummy steel assembly (DSA) simulators situated at the core periphery that can cause corresponding gradients with possible influence onfuel failure occurrence. For above purpose, results of power distribution measurements performed on reactor LR-0 with WWER-440 type mock-up were used. Obtained experimental results can be utilised for code validation and subsequently for fuel failure occurrence investigation.
