Within the framework of the Belgian programme for the improvement of the safety of nuclear facilities in Eastern and Central Europe and in the Commonwealth of Independent States (financed by the Belgian Ministry of Economic Affairs), SCK-CEN has been involved in many scientific or technical projects. One of the projects started in 2010 focussed on reactor dosimetry and was a collaboration between Research Centre Rez, Czech Republic, and SCK-CEN, Belgium. One of the main tasks identified in this project consisted of a reactor dosimetry intercomparison between NRI/ Research Centre Rez and SCK-CEN.
