Problem of the soil calcium status with respect to Mehlich III extraction solution
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The soil calcium, especially it?s mobile and exchangeable forms, is one of the yield making elements. It controls soil sorption complex and its exchange reactions in soil environment, forms and stabilizes favourable soil structure and its pH value. Due to a relatively very close relationship between soil pH value and Ca-Mehlich-3 content we have attempted to employ this relation to an estimation of some reasonable sufficient soil Ca concentration. We have found the inflection point of the polynomial near to the pH value 5.6 and the corresponding value of Ca saturation extent is approximately 60%. Taking into a consideration a fact that above soil pH value 5.5 is a harmful influence of aluminium active form negligible, the corresponding value for Mehlich-3-Ca form for soil pH value 5.6 is approximately 1,400 mg.kg-1. Poster presentation for European Geosciences Union ? General Assembly; 19.-24.4.2009, Wien. Published in: Geophysical Research Abstracts, vol.11, EGU2009-5937, 2009, ISSN 1
