The influence of range management by animal fertilized grassland on soil organic matter parameters in Jeseniky Region (Czech Republic)
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The aim of this work was to evaluate the soil organic matter quantity after the three years of animal fertilisers? utilisation (slurry; mixture of cow manure and dung-water). The application of animal manure affected the amount of soil organic carbon content. It increased from 0.73 mg.kg-1 in 2004 to 1.30 mg.kg-1 in 2007 with the load of 0.9 LU per ha, from 0.92 mg.kg-1 in 2004 to 1.37 mg.kg-1 in 2007 with the load of 1.4 LU per ha, and from 0.75 mg.kg-1 in 2004 to 1.39 mg.kg-1 in 2007 with the load of2.0 LU per ha. The content of humic matter carbon increase significantly up to 100% with slurry application comparing the mixture of cow manure and dung-water. From the viewpoint of sustainability of the soil fertility we can consider the load of 1.4 LUper ha as the most suitable in our region. Poster presentation. Abstract published in: Soil Organic matter. Rothamsted Research, Harpenden,Hertfordshire, UK, 23rd?25th June, 2009. p. 58.
