The effect of organic fertilizers and cutting frequency on yield and quality of permanent grasslands
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The study was focussed on the effect of different organic fertilizers? application and cutting frequency on the yield, chemical composition of the fodder. A small plot trial was managed with three levels of cutting intensity by organic fertilizers application (mixture of cow manure and dung-water; cow slurry) - model stocking rate: 0.9, 1.4 and 2 LU.ha-1. The estimation of the organic matter digestibility (OMD) was carried out by modified in vitro method Tilley and Terry. The organic fertiliser rates determined changes in the productivity by increasing the percentage of the dry matter yield by 41-68% (for manure), and 56-94% (for slurry), compared with the unfertilised control. There was found a significant increase in the crude protein content in connection with the increasing dose of fertilisers and with increasing number of cuts per year. The organic matter digestibility was significantly affected only by intensity of utilisation.
