Global communication and information technologies have advanced significantly in recent years in a variety of fields. The Internet of Things (IoT) is a rapidly expanding communication technology that connects people, physical objects, and even things themselves. The researchers are working on IoT-based solutions for various industries, including manufacturing, service, oil and refining, and pharmaceuticals. The application of the Internet of Things (IoT) represents current trending technology and is in hot discussions in agriculture applications. This paper discusses various technological solutions and issues regarding IoT and the concept of the hot green information and communications technologies (ICT's) enabling green IoT. This paper contributes by presenting Green IoT Agriculture using the sensor-cloud integration model, and it lists out the advantages and future research directions related to green application design.
