The primary goal of the project is to develop a simulation guided engineering and construction process for underground structures. GeoTech (Czech name of project) or GeoProduction (German name of project) is the international project that develops of an engineering industrial production platform for “Industry 4.0”. The responsibilities of each project partner are illustrated in Fig. 0-1. On the Czech side, two specific platforms have been developed for the purposes of this project. The first one extends the existing ATENA FEM software [7]. This platform is described in the section 4 or in the report [4]. The extended software will provide a tool for back analysis of geotechnical constructions. By means of this platform the construction process can be optimized according to the current geotechnical conditions. The second platform enables on-line monitoring by a web application. This platform is described in the section 1 or in the report [17]. In this application user could select data for the back analysis in ATENA. In the next step expected reference and thresholds will be adjusted. Warning or alarm will be issued based on these prescribed levels – user will be informed if the measured values will exceed the predicted ones or become to be close to structural failure thresholds. The report describes the developed system and activities during the second year of the project development. The demo projects at the end of this report demonstrate use of the developed platform on the practical structures.
