This evaluation study deals with best practises from the digitalisation in the context of current situation in Europe. It is focused on digitalisation of public administration and services, development of employees’ digital knowledge, e-invoicing, start-up support in digitalisation area, cybersecurity and finally also on the regulation of e-government in the European Union. From the analysis of European best practices there is provided a recommendation for the Czech regulatory bodies. This output was created within the project „New challenges of e-Government in the European context for increasing the competitiveness of the Czech Republic“ (Reg. No. TL01000147) funded by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic within the Programme ETA.
