Das direktdemokratische Prozedere wurde in Tschechien bislang nur unzureichend eingesetzt. Es ist anzunehmen, dass eine intensivere Anwendung der plebiszitären Demokratieinstrumente zu mehr Selbstbewusstsein der Staatsbürger, zum größeren Politikvertrauen der Öffentlichkeit und dadurch auch zu einer verstärkt engagierten Zivilgesellschaft führen kann. Folglich ist die sachunmittelbare Demokratie für die Demokratiekonsolidierung, für nachhaltige Legitimation des politischen Systems und somit für die Krisenresistenz der Demokratie hochrelevant.

The direct democratic procedure was only isufficiently used in the Czech Republic so far. It is likely that a more intensive application of plebiscitary democracy instruments will result in a higher level of confidence of the citizens, a greater public trust in politics and also a more engaged civil society. Consequently, the direct democracy is highly relevent for the consolidation of democracy, sustainable legitimacy of the political system, and thus the resiliance towards crises.
