Die Kanzlei Johanns von Görlitz war die kleine Einrichtung. Sie entsteht am Anfang seiner Regierung im Görlitzer Herzogtum (1377), aber zur ihrer größeren Aktivität kam es erst nach der Mitte der 1380er Jahre, als der Herzog volljährig geworden ist. Die Studie untersucht den Urkundenauslauf, sowie die äußeren und inneren Merkmale der ausgestellten Schriftstücke (einschließlich der benutzen Urkundensprachen, wo immer Deutsch ausschlaggebend war).

It emerged at the beginning of his reign in Görlitz Duchy (1377), but the more significant activity is to observe since the middle of 1380s, when the duke acquired adulthood. The study deals with the emission of the duke's charters, it analyses its external and internal features (including the language in use which was mostly German.
