Die komplexe Ausarbeitung der Kanzleiausstattung eines der tschechischen mittelalterlichen Herrscher ist leider in unserer Geschichtsschreibung kein häufiges Thema, was auch für die letzten Vertreter der einheimischen Přemyslid-Dynastie, nämlich Wenzel II. und Wenzel III. gilt. Die grundlegenden Beobachtungen zur Organisation, Besetzung und Produktion der tschechischen Kanzlei Ende des 13. und Anfang des 14. Jahrhunderts sind seit der Veröffentlichung der umfassenden Studie Mitte der 1970er Jahre, auf der diese Studie basiert, unverändert geblieben. Natürlich wird der breitere gesellschaftspolitische Kontext innerhalb der Grenzen des tschechischen Staates ebenso respektiert und auch die Absichten der letzten Přemysliden im Bereich der Außenpolitik. Daher sind die Aktivitäten dieses Amtes in jeder Hinsicht mit der damaligen ungarischen Herrscherkanzlei konfrontiert, nicht nur während zur Regierungszeit des letzten Vertreter der Arpád-Dynastie Andreas III., sondern auch unter Ladislaus V., alias Wenzel III., als König von Ungarn. Die vergleichende Methodik ermöglichte natürlich, auf verschiedene Unterschiede in Organisation, Personal, Produktion und politischen Akzenten beider Kanzleien aufmerksam zu machen.

Unfortunately, the complex elaboration of the office equipment of one of the Czech medieval rulers is not a frequent topic in our historiography, which also applies to the supreme administrative office of the last representatives of the domestic Přemyslid dynasty, namely Wenceslas II. and Wenceslas III. The basic observations on the organization, staffing and production of the Czech office at the end of the 13th and the beginning of the 14th century have remained unchanged since the publication of the comprehensive study in the mid-1970s, on which this study is based. Of course, the broader socio-political context within the borders of the Czech state is respected, as well as the intentions of the last Přemyslids in the field of foreign policy. Therefore, the activities of this office are confronted in all respects with the contemporary Hungarian office, not only during the last Arpádovec Ondřej III, but also under Ladislav V. alias Václav III. as the king of Hungary. Comparative studies, of course, made it possible to draw attention to various differences in the organization, staffing, production and political accents presented by both offices.
