Cet article vise á développer une analyse socio-phénoménologique de la notion de mémoire collective en reconsidérant l&apos;importance de sa dimension spatiale. Plus précisément, la méthodologie et les théses pour configurer cette analyse seront recherchées á travers une lecture critique croisant phénoménologie et sociologie de la mémoire. Nous ferons notamment référence á la premiére partie de loeuvre de Paul Ricoeur La mémoire, l&apos;histoire, l&apos;oubli (2000), intitulée &quot; Mémoire personnelle, mémoire collective &quot;, et aux oeuvres de Maurice Halbwachs, Les cadres sociaux de la mémoire (1925), livre fondateur d&apos;une sociologie de la mémoire, et La mémoire collective (1950). D&apos;abord, nous verrons comment penser la continuité entre la mémoire individuelle et la mémoire collective en adoptant une perspective socio-phénoménologique. Ici, la notion phénoménologique d&apos;analogie permettra de comprendre l&apos;équilibre entre le plan de la vie personnelle et le plan de la vie commune. Ensuite, sur la base de l&apos;idée husserlienne de monde de la vie (Lebenswelt), la deuxiéme partie de cet article sera dédiée au probléme de la spatialisation de la mémoire collective.

Paul Ricoeur and Maurice Halbwachs: For a Socio-Phenomenological Analysis of Collective Memory and its Spatialization

This article aims to develop a socio-phenomenological analysis of the notion of collective memory by reconsidering the importance of its spatial dimension. More precisely, the methodology and the theses to configure this analysis will be sought through a critical reading of phenomenology and sociology of memory. The article refers in particular to the first part of Paul Ricoeur&apos;s work Memory, History, Forgetting (2000), entitled &quot;Personal Memory, Collective Memory&quot;, and to the works of Maurice Halbwachs, Les cadres sociaux de la mémoire (1925), the founding book of a sociology of memory, and La mémoire collective (1950). First, we will see how to think the continuity between individual and collective memory by adopting a socio-phenomenological perspective. Here, the phenomenological notion of analogy will allow us to understand the balance between the plane of personal life and the plane of common life. Then, on the basis of the Husserlian idea of the lifeworld (Lebenswelt), the second part of the article will be dedicated to the problem of the spatialization of collective memory.
