In den letzten Jahrzehnten hat die sogenannte &quot;neue&quot; Rechte in Deutschland sowie in Europa und Amerika an Sichtbarkeit und Einfluss in Politik, Gesellschaft und Öffentlichkeit gewonnen. Diese Entwicklung ist eng mit dem Aufstieg des Rechtspopulismus und der Mobilisierung rechtsextremer Bewegungen verbunden. Die Beiträger*innen analysieren aus soziologischen, politik- und geschichtswissenschaftlichen sowie sozialpsychologischen Perspektiven die jüngsten Entwicklungen im Feld der &quot;neuen&quot; Rechten. Dazu nehmen sie sowohl globale Dynamiken als auch die Situation in lokalen Hotspots in Sachsen in den Blick und bieten so eine umfassende Zusammenschau neurechter Politiken über Ländergrenzen hinweg.

In recent decades, the so-called &quot;new&quot; right in Germany, Europe and America has gained visibility and influence in politics, society and the public sphere. This development is closely linked to the rise of right-wing populism and the mobilisation of far-right movements. The contributors analyse the latest developments in the field of the &quot;new&quot; right from sociological, political science, historical and socio-psychological perspectives. To this end, they look at both global dynamics and the situation in local hotspots in Saxony, thus offering a comprehensive overview of new right-wing politics across national borders.
