Der Beitrag vwidmet sich den Biografien und dem Wirken der Schwägerinnen Elsa Brod (Ehefrau von Max Brod) und Nadja Taussig (Ehefrau von Elsa Brods Bruder, Ernst Taussig). Es wird der Lebensweg beider Frauen im Kontext des Prager Kreises sowie ihre spätere Emigration nach Tel Aviv untersucht. Dabei beleuchtet der Aufsatz die intellektuelle und kulturelle Eigenständigkeit dieser Frauen, die oft im Schatten ihrer berühmten männlichen Weggefährten standen. Durch die Analyse ihrer Korrespondenzen und Lebenszeugnisse leistet die Autorin einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Sichtbarkeit weiblicher Perspektiven innerhalb der deutsch-jüdischen Literatur- und Kulturgeschichte zwischen Prag und Palästina/Israel.

This article focuses on the biographies and work of sisters-in-law Elsa Brod (wife of Max Brod) and Nadja Taussig (wife of Elsa Brod&apos;s brother, Ernst Taussig). It examines the lives of both women in the context of the Prague Circle and their later emigration to Tel Aviv. The essay highlights the intellectual and cultural independence of these women, who often stood in the shadow of their famous male companions. Through the analysis of their correspondence and life testimonies, the author makes an important contribution to the visibility of female perspectives within German-Jewish literary and cultural history between Prague and Palestine/Israel.
