For eutectic and non-eutectic silumines modifications, a molten metal modification is performed before casting with strontium, which has a time-limited effect for a maximum of 1-1.5 hours. In order to prolong the modulation effect of strontium, beryllium is used in this experiment. The aim of the experiment is to investigate the change of microstructure and mechanical properties of Al - Si alloys in combination with strontium modifier. For the experiment, the AlSi7Mg0.3 alloy was used with a strontium modifier of 0.04%, and beryllium 0.15% was added to lengthen the time effect of strontium modification. Beryllium was used in the form of AlBe5 alloy and the samples were cast by gravity casting into the metal preheated mould. A chemical analysis of the composition of the post-power spectral analysis was carried out and the microstructure evaluated using EDS analysis. Alloys formed after the addition of the modifier were subjected to a static tensile and Brinell hardness test.
