The objective of this study was to evaluate the influence of shooting and orientation on the results in Biathlon Orienteering. Based on the analysis of data from the last 3 World Championships, we evaluated the effect of shooting and orienteering on thefinal standings in the classic races of biathlon orienteering of men and women. The results show that shooting has influence of 15.6% on the final position of women and 15.3% of men. A significantly higher influence was found in orienteering which affects the final result in biathlon orienteering in 23.1% in men and 21.6% in women.
