The surface electromyography in fencing. The analysis of the acyclic movement in three different performance level groups of fencers
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Summary The main goal of this work is to find out di?erences in activation of selected muscles during lunge (order in activation, time activation) among di?erent groups of fencers, varying from elite athletes to beginners. The muscle activation is closely related to the fxed movement programs stored in memory a?ected by the sport practise. The research sample consisted of 43 Czech and Slovak fencers, aged 22.7 +- 6.4 year. Based on their current performance level fencers were divided into three specific groups (elite, sub elite, beginners). For surface electromyography the system ME6000 was used. For reaction time during the lunge (motor response) measurement the Fitrosword device was used. On lunge/front side of the body (closer to the target) m. deltoideus pars anterior, m. trapezius - upper part, and m. rectus femoris will be observed. On the beat/rear side (further from the target) m. rectus femoris and m. deltoideus pars medialis will be observed. Also a di?erence and the relation of the reaction time (motor response) during lunge and activation of selected muscles will be analyzed. The work is based on a hypothesis that a di?erence between recorded variables among fencers of di?erent performance level will be detected in the e?ectivity of the movement, speed of the information processing. Based on results presented in the work we can objectively conclude that there are di?erences in time interactions of the observed relation during the lunge between di?erent performance level of fencers. These results can be used for sport performance development, training process modification and take into account signifcance of motor control biomechanical regularities in sport practise.
