Tourism in an anthropogenically affected landscape as a part of sustainable development of the area
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
This contribution deals with tourism in an anthropogenically affected landscape in North Bohemia, Czech Republic, as a part of sustainable development of the area that consists of the Chomutov, Most, Teplice and Ústí nad Labem districts. The area is affected by surface brown coal mining. This anthropogenically affected landscape is successfully integrated back into the surrounding environment through reclamation and restoration processes. These processes support the creation of new land designated for improving the ecological and environmental stability of the area, and also for recreational purposes. The most suitable wals of reclamation to support tourism are hydrological and so called other reclamations that help the once devastated landscape to be socialized again. The area of interest is a great example of using restoration and reclamation processes to recreational purposes. Reclamation and restoration processes are important tools for sustainable development because they take into consideration the ecological, economic and social potential of an anthropogenically affected landscape.
