The Phytodecontamination ? new Metod for Mining Water Treatment
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The former mine and its inner dump is the area of interest situated in the North-bohemian Brown Coal Basins. In the course of the mine opening and continuous operation the hydrogeological conditions of the outer environment were impacted or changed by previous long-term, first underground, later opencast coal mining. The abundant effluents of underground waters with low pH and high contents of dissolved substances, sulphates, manganese and iron were recorded in the residual pit. The waters were carriedoff to the pools of the local pump station and from here pumped to the recipient which is a waste runway of the river Bílina. By changing the valid legislation to stipulate mine waters discharging into recipients it was necessary to comply with the set valid limits. The sulphates, manganese and iron were the questionable water quality indicators. The set of regeneration measures was implemented using the process of phytodecontamination so the discharged waters would conform to the set qu
