Line and season distribution of dust fallout deposition near open pit mine and a relation between the dust fallout deposition and suspended PM10 particles concentration
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The North-West Bohemia is an exposed area to the air pollution with solid particles. A large part of coarse dust particles besides fine ones occurs near industrial complexes. Finer PM10 particles stay long in air. They are significant for inhabitants because of their negative health effects. This section of suspended particles is practically imperceptible by human senses. They do not penetrate deep to the organism through a respiratory system. Their health hazard is much lower than that of suspended PM10 particles. The coarse particles relatively quickly sediment from the air due to gravitation forces according to their mass. The results of evaluating measurements of dust fallout and suspended PM10 particles in four living communal build up areas nearthe Tušimice Prunéřov power station?s complex at period 2000 - 2007. There are three power stations, an open pit mine, brown coal combustion product storage, and a communal waste dump place in this locality.
