In 2011, Czech Transport Research Centre (Centrum dopravního výzkumu, v.v.i.) started an R&D project of the Ministry of Interior titled ?Hloubková analýza silničních dopravních nehod? (In-depth Analysis of Road Accidents), project No. VG20112015007 (hereinafter referred to as HADN). A specialized team of experts in transport infrastructure, vehicle engineering, psychology in transport, and cooperating medical experts from The University Hospital Brno investigate accidents on the spot occurring in Brno and its surrounding, and later analyse them and record them in a database specifically created for this purpose.
