The chapter maps the Czech expert field (as of 2018) of the travel time valuation taking part in the assessment of the infrastructure investment projects. It introduces the main stakeholders in the field, the recent research project estimating VTTS and the administrative guidelines, providing official VTTS numbers. The chapter compares research and guidelines values, taking into account the trip purpose, length, and mode. The comparison shows the difference between guideline and research values, as well as the variability within research projects value estimations.
