The first stage of the NIKM project is a result of a long series of projects and activities initiated by the Ministry of the Environment and is aimed at the preparation of the Inventory of Contamined Surface and Potentially Contaminated Sites, and the categorisation of the priorities on the territory of the Czech Republic. The first stage has been carried out at CENIA, Czech Environmental Information Agency in the following years 2009-2012. The aim is to ensure the comprehensive tools and methodologicalassumptions for their own inventory, which should be implemented in the 2nd stage (2013-2015).
