Implementation of perspective test methods for evaluation of mechanical properties of irradiation NPP's structural materials
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
"The hot cells were constructed in ÚJV Řež, a. s. at the end of 1970. In the first decade of service until 1978, the hot cells were used for verifying the operational ability of fuel elements. From 1980 to 1985, reconstruction of semi-hot laboratory wascarried out to enable experimental studies of the changes of mechanical properties of WWER type reactors surveillance programme materials. Facility consists of 51 hot and semi-hot cells situated on the three floors. Hot cells are used for preparatory andauxiliary operations with irradiated materials, e.g. receiving of irradiated materials, unloading of containers and evaluation of detectors to determine the neutron fluences and irradiation temperatures. This presentation provides an overview of furtherdevelopment and implementation of perspective procedures for small specimen testing in the accredited laboratory of the Mechanical Testing Department, specifically small punch testing and automated ball indentation testing.
