Development of the pilot plant device for reduce mercury emission form energy sources
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
This paper deals with the presentation of the project "Development of the pilot plant for monitoring Hg emission reductions from large and medium energy sources." This project responds to the newcomers EU legislation BAT, which determines not only the emission concentration limits of Hg in the flue gas, but also the requirements for continuous measurement of Hg concentration. The main goal of this paper is to introduce the project and results reached in 2014. The analyses of selected lignite and black coal were done in order to determine the concentrations of Hg. The balance calculation was also carried out showing the concentrations of the analytes in the knowledge of the normal combustion mode of selected sources. Measurements on a large power plant were carried out and the detected concentrations of Hg in the combustion products were compared with the balance calculation. BIT´s 4th Annual International Symposium of Clean Coal Technology (CCT2015), September 24-26, 2015, Xi´an, China
