The subject of this article is theoretical analysis of the application of barrier textiles for sport, Hi-tech purpose and calculation of optimization of moisture transport and water vapour for different types of semi-permeable barrier textiles. The aim is to theoretically evaluate the real transport properties of these materials. Theoretical analysis of the transport properties, the possibility of evaluation and prediction are mainly applied to the functional and sportswear together with measurements. The results of research works show the strengths and weaknesses of these sophisticated semi-permeable materials and real opportunities in sport and physical activity of the wearer.
