The study is concerned with utilisation of controlled drives for controlled winding in the formation of perfect precise cross winding PPCW. The advantage of employment of controlled drives consists in an improvement of technical parameters of the windingequipment in the area of increasing the universality of the winding machine, in particular the possibility of choice of an arbitrary winding ratio as well as an arbitrary thickness- fineness of the wound material, and in simplifying the design of the winding equipment.
