Failure of diamond grains at the working surface of grinding wheels
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The failure of abrasive grains at the working surfaře of a grinding wheel may be due to disintegration, displacement, or local rotation of the grains. These models may operate independently, in series, or in parallel. The failure of wheels with organic binder, in conditions where the cutting properties are restored, is mainly due to local rotation of the abrasive grains in the binder. Such grains account for 40?65% of those that are not involved in cutting. The failure of wheels with metallic binder, inconditions where the cutting properties are lost, is mainly due to local rotation of the abrasive grains in the binder. Such grains account for 50?55% of those that are not involved in cutting. The number of abrasive grains removed from the working surface of the wheel as a result of local rotation may be reduced by increasing the content of copper powder in the organic binder.
