Runner systems of plastic parts are important by production. The runner system is influencing as quality of the part so also economic by production. Once from most important parts of the runner system is a gate. It has through easy dividing from the partas few as possible a cross. It has negative influence on rheology and a volume compensation of the part. The article compare a freeze time at the gate of a fan gate which is computed by numerical analysis and real freeze time of the gate. Tested material is Bayblend FR90.
