This article deals with explanation of the development of the new gear-box model for the observation of the oil flows. The existing model is introduced and it?s positive and negative aspects are presented. The new gear-box model will be able to improve the possibilities for oil flows observation. The model contains gear set with spiral gearing, situated inside the plexiglass gearbox. Experimental results will be used for comparison with the data from numerical simulation.
