Deformation Characteristics of the Tensile Specimens of Steel Sheet in Local and Global Area Using Videoextensometry
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
It is generally known that high strength is always accompanied by low ductility for various structural materials [1]. With increasing yield stress and ultimate tensile strength plasticity characteristics, such as elongation, plastic strain ratio r and strain hardening exponent n decrease. The ratio of yield stress to ultimate tensile strength Re/Rm represents the ability to plastic deformation, called plastic reserve and for good formability it reaches a minimum value. The main goal of this study is thecomparison between deformation characteristics in the global and local area using a non-contact experimental technique, videoextensometry, for measuring strain during tensile loading at uniform deformation. Steel sheet with 3 mm thickness, made from deep-drawing steel, was used for the investigation on specimens oriented perpendicularly to the rolling direction. Despite similar true stress - true strain curves measured in local and global areas for individual materials, both values of p
