Surface Properties of Thin Coated Layers of CrN Deposited by CVD Metod
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Coating methods with using a plasma deposition are among the modern methods of improving material surface properties. The two main coating methods are used sputtering plasma CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) and PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition). The applied coating thin films of CrN/Cr, CrN and others increase material mechanical properties. Parameters of the coating can modified the microstructure, hardness and adhesion. By selecting the optimal parameters of the sputtering process one can achieve particular desired properties. One of the most important properties of coated layers include adhesion (adhesion surface), tribological properties and surface roughness. In the carried out experiments adhesion layer to a base material was determined by using the "scratch test" and tribological measurement. Measurements were performed on a Bruker measuring device that enables the measurement methods Ball on disc. Using this device the record of the progress of the coefficient of friction was obtained and analysed. The aim of this tribological measurements were compared tribological properties of coated layers CrN/Cr and CrN coating.
