Production of parallelized nanofibers is highly advanced in various fields. Our research is focused on the nanofiber production for medical sector. The main goal is to produce yarns composed from oriented nanofibers to make ophthalmological implants. The first device which allowed production of nanofibres parallelized structures has been previously constructed in cooperation with Clemson University in South Carolina, USA [1], the modified one has been constructed at the Technical University of Liberec [2]. Also one of the main goals of this project is automation of the nanofiber processing. Therefore one of the tasks is to improve the collector device to work continuously without the human interference. It is necessary to detect not only the presence of the fibers, but also the presence of parallelization of manufactured nanofibers. In this article described a technology for detecting parallel nanofibers.
