In the method of producing the linear fiber formation, a nanofibrous siding is formed at the spinning electrode supplied by alternating voltage, which in the spinning space turns into a flat strip with an ordered structure of nanofibres, which is fed to the periphery of the supporting linear formation rotating in the spinning space about its own axis and / or ballooning in the spinning space with at least one oscillation. The web formed from the nanofiber siding winds around the linear support structure and forms a helix around the linear support structure . The apparatus for producing a linear fibrous structure comprises a feeding device of a supporting linear formation into a spinning chamber in which at least one spinning electrode is arranged, a towing device and a drying and fixing device .
