Verification of MH-model of Porous Media Fluid Flow

The contribution gives an information about process of verification of MH-model of unsteady unsaturated porous media flow. This process contains various tests, which are divided into three levels - implementation of numerical methods, linear problems offlow and non-linear problems of flow. The aim of tests of implementation was to prove correctness of numerical algorithms used in our model, to try to estimate their maximal error and to determine limits of their usability. In the second stage we have tested linear problems of steady saturated porous media flow and compared the results with known analytical solution. The aim of this stage was to determine the influence of quality of the mesh used for discretization to precision of the results of model.And finaly, in the third, most important stage, we have examined the behavior of model for non-linear problems of unsaturated flow. Our goal was to show the stability and corvengence of the iterative algorithm and find limits of usability
