Standard application of control systems need no specific dependbility requirements. Information about reliability (mean time between failures) and maintainability (mean repair time) is isually asked. But in more sophisticated applications (for example military, space and avionics means, nuclear power plants etc.), dependability requirements are very hard. For this purpose very detailed dependability goalsare established and secific methods for ensure of control system dependability are used. In this paper some dependability aspects of control design for nuclear power plants are presented.
