The main goals of this paper were the preparation and characterization of new polymeric membranes of different types of antimicrobial organic compounds, which lead to decrease of surface fouling. There were used four types of antimicrobial additives, moreover, two concentrations were made. The membranes were prepared by method of phase inversion. In addition, the structures of membranes were determined by atomic force microscopy as well as by scanning electron microscopy. Furthermore, the antimicrobial effect of used organic compounds was investigated. These characteristics with non-midified membrane (membrane without additives) were compared. The main aim on permeability and mass flux of new membranes was focused.
