The paper deals with the analysis of time-series trends in public expenditure on environmental protection in the Czech Republic and their predictions (for the years 2011--2013). Time series are a sequence of data points that are measured usually in successive periods which are placed at time intervals. The data in this document are expenditures for environmental protection between 1998 and 2010. Data are available in the Statistical Yearbooks of the Ministry of Finance and CENIA. The analysis does not include economic factors (inflation, economic progress, economic recession, economic shocks, etc.).
