It is possible to conclude from the results that a statistically significant association between globalization and governance matters was demonstrated for both groups of countries. There are moderately correlated relationships between the economic and social dimensions of globalization and the quality of governance in the case of developing countries and strong correlated relationships between the economic and social dimensions of globalization and the quality of governance in the case of developed market economies. Even if the evidence of a closer relationship between the economic and social globalization (EG and SG-KOF) and WGIs in developed countries, where it was shown that an increase in both sub-indicators of globalization by one point, will produce slightly better results in improving the quality of governance in emerging markets.
