The growing number of information and communication technologies, the creation of new mobile devices and the omnipresent availability of the Internet have created new possibilities how to share information. One of the major channels is now represented bymobile phones, more specifically by mobile applications. Not only that a lot of information is transmitted through them, but also the process of designing such an application requires a great quantity of data. All this data must be collected, processed,distributed and incorporated in the overall design during the conception of a mobile application. The following paper describes all the stages of the mobile application design process including the initial analysis, design of the appearance, defining the functionality, application programming, testing and distribution of the final product.
