    The paper deals with innovation as one of the most significant subjects of modern business management. Innovation has always been a driving force not only for whole economies around the world, but also for individual enterprises and organizations. In today's turbulent environment, however, innovation occupies even more important place than it did ever before. From a theoretical point of view, we distinguish technical innovations (related to the development of new products and technological progress) and non-technical innovations (engaged mainly in enterprise management processes and marketing strategies). New Internet technologies have entered this problematic with a great number of tools that could become an eminent asset in innovative initiatives orbe perceived as innovation themselves.
