Multinational Companies Benefiting From Investment Incentives and Their Impact on Labour Market of Ustecky Region

The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the impact of foreign direct investment that has been attracted by incentive system to the labour market of one of the most structural problematic region, namely Ustecky region which is characterized by long-termhigh unemployment rate. Primal research question is wheather and how may multinational corporations contribute to the key issue?s solution of the region labour market. The impact of multinational companies that localized their subsidiaries into selectedregion was quantified from comparative analysis of companies` annual reports and statistics of the Czech statistical office and CzechInvest. Real benefit of primary created job positions is reduced by inflow of foreign workers that are connected to the examined economic subjects. Correlative analysis displays the relation of foreign direct investment and regional unemployment rate.
