This paper pursues influence of simulated UV component of solar radiation activity on mechanic properties linear textiles. The problem is extended; in addition to the tensile strength, the breaking elongation, the elasticity it is testing the impact strength and the abrasion resistance of sewing threads. Next it was solved the problem with short fixing length of specimens in laboratory equipment for UV radiation exposure. It is evaluated UV stabilization.
