The aim of this work is to describe the simple cut resistance test method based on the modification of the tensile testing machine. Cut resistance is characterized by the maximum load and total deformation work. These characteristics are compared with results of ball bursting test and tensile test for set of fabrics composed from cotton and polypropylene.
