Optimization of quality and speed scanning of fabrics structure by computed microtomography systems
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Investigating the structure of materials is essential for understanding basic properties of these materials. The non-destructive methods are the sophisticated way to determine the structure of material. On of the non-destructive analysis method is computed mictrotomography (CT). The CT system uses X-ray to create cross-sections of a 3D-object that later can be used to recreate a virtual model without destroying the original model. The presented paper deals with contrast improving of 3D textile structures scan by X-ray computed microtomography system. The process of iodide application (NaIn) was proposed and subsequently verified to optimize quality scanned fabric image and to decrease speed scanning. The CT is based on interaction of radiation with studied object in the process absorption ability of scanned object is very important for used radiation. In case of textile structures the X-ray absorption is generally quite small and therefore the polymer is difficult to distinguish from t
