Physiological comfort is determined by the state of the organism during physical activity, and thermal comfort is determined by the feeling of warmth/coldness and damp/dryness, which depends on the air permeability and capability to absorb and evaporatesweat. Since spacer fabrics are 3-dimensional (3D) textile structures formed of two fabric layers which are joined together and kept apart by spacer yarns which are highly breathable. Nowadays lots of research works are carrying out on spacer fabrics forthermo-physiological comfort clothing, but still insufficient literatures are available on this area.
