The aim of this project is to study and analyse properties of elastic flat textiles, which influence the final shape of clothing pattern. The experiment carried out thought measurements of elastic flat textile properties with the intention of defining negative allowances which could be added to the construction abscissas in clothing constructional algorithms. This paper studied the fabrics composition made from Polyamid (PA) Skinlife 52%, Polyamid (PA) 36% and Elastan (EL) 12%. This research focuses onthe one path of body measurement of women between under bust circumference and waist circumference to analyse and evaluate the influence of elastic properties. The results show a significant influence of the length circumference of elastic fabric on pressures (P), the smaller the length of circumference is the higher the exerted pressure will be. Compression classes of elongation at 30% are in class 1, which has a lower garment pressure and comfort for the wearer.
